Amber Makar is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFT’s, LCSW’s, LPCC’s and/or LEP’s. Amber Makar is also certified by the california Board of Nursing to provide CE’s for RN’s. Amber Makar maintains responsibility for all programs and THeir content.

Rates start at $350 hr
Offering clinical and topic based trainings in many mental health, public health and first responder settings. Our trainings offer the most current data and research, so you can rest assured your training will be up to date. We offer training in many topic areas including (but not limited to) Assessments, Bullying, De-Escalation, Clinical Supervision, Trauma, Substance Use, Suicide, Domestic Violence, Financial Exploitation and Compassion Fatigue. We specialize in offering a large array of LGBTQ trainings with many format options. We also offer trainings specific to age groups including youth, adults and older adults. We can also customize a training to your specific needs. We offer flexible time format options that can range from 1 up to 8 hours. Let us help you decide which format meets your agency needs.

We also offer, at times, community-wide trainings. These can be either Live Virtual Trainings or short At Your Pace Video Trainings. Some of these include CE’s if you so choose. A few of these are live in-person courses offered at various venues throughout California. With a large array of topic areas available, you are sure to find one that suits you.
